Photographically illustrated paper-covered boards with title printed on spine, contained in an acid-yellow cardstock slipcase with title boldly printed in fuscia; no dust jacket as issued. Photographs by Lars Tunbjörk. Includes an 8-page booklet insert with thumbnails and a list of plates. Designed by Greger Ulf Nilson. Unpaginated (156 pp.), with 156 four-color plates beautifully printed full-bleed on heavy coated paper by Steidl, from scans made by Steidl's Digital Darkroom. 11 x 13-7/8 inches.

From the publisher: "I Love Borås is Lars Tunbjörk's document of an aimless journey around Sweden between 1988 and 1995 [Borås is a province and city in the country's southwestern region], depicting supermarkets, parties, small town streets, amusement parks, gas stations, TV-shows, landscapes, food. During that time Tunbjörk was working on his series Landet utom sig / Country Beside Itself, but these images were not used in that series because they didn't fit, they were too ugly, too beautiful or too silly. Together they show a darker and more hysteric view of modern western society and Sweden during the economic recession of the early nineties."
