Limited edition of 550 copies (this being number 294), numbered and signed on the colophon page by Siskind, with six bound hand-pulled photogravure plates (each 10-1/2 x 10-1/2 inches). Hardcover. Fine green linen cloth-covered boards, with spine and fore edge bound in black goatskin and title stamped in gold on spine; no dust jacket as issued; contained in a black linen-covered slipcase. Photographs by Aaron Siskind. Text by Walt Whitman. Includes a laid-in four-page booklet on the edition. Designed by Kevin Begos Jr. and Dan Carr. Unpaginated (52 pp.), with six photogravure plates printed by Paul Taylor, with Clary Nelson at Renaissance Press, on mould-made French Richard de Bas paper. The letterpress text is set in English Monotype Scotch at Golgonooza Letter Foundry by Julia Ferrari and Dan Carr and printed by Heritage Printers on mould-made paper from Carterie Enrico Magnani, Pescia, Italy. 17-3/8 x 14-7/8 inches.
