This limited edition portfolio of 12 original gelatin silver prints is limited to only 60 numbered copies + artist proofs. The gelatin silver prints are dry-mounted on white board with top window mat; the image sizes slightly vary, from 7 x 9 to 7-3/8 x 9-1/2 inches for the six horizontally-oriented prints and from 8-7/8 x 7 to 9-1/2 x 6-1/2 inches for the six vertically-oriented prints. Each mounted print is stamped in red ink, signed, and numbered in pen in lower-right corner of the board by Burns. The 12 prints are housed in a clamshell box which was custom-made for this portfolio.
A booklet measuring 14 x 17 inches accompanies the portfolio of prints, and includes an introductory text by Gretel Ehrlich. The calligraphy and design of the booklet are by Tim Girvin and Chris Spivey. The handmade paper is Narcisse Blanc by Richard de Bas, France. The construction is by Len Hartnett, Rhode Island. The letterpress is by The Hampshire Typothetae. The booklet and portfolio were published by the photographer in Seattle, Washington in 1981.
