First edition, first and only printing. Limited edition of 550 numbered copies, this being #460. This copy is additionally signed (in kanji) in black ink opposite the title page by Kawada. Hardcover. Fine black silk cloth-covered boards debossed and embossed with gold and blue graphics on front, and with silver and black graphics on back and a gold silk cloth-covered spine stamped with title (in Japanese and English) in black. Laminated black dust jacket with title (in Japanese and English) printed in white on cover and spine. The dust jacket is die-cut with circular openings on front, spine and back, revealing the graphic designs on the boards. Contained in a translucent white plastic slipcase printed with graphics and title in black, gold and white. Photographs by Kikuji Kawada. Includes a list of plates and a list of Kawada's bodies of work (in Japanese and English). Designed by Mitsuo Katsui. 200 pp., with 146 four-color and black-and-white plates and additional illustrations, exquisitely printed in Japan by Toppan Printing Co., Ltd. 12-3/16 x 8-7/8 inches. Out of print. Very scarce.

This stupendously gorgeous publication features three sections of photographs produced since 1969: "1st Globe -- Los Caprichos -- 1969-1981," "2nd Globe -- The Last Cosmology -- 1979-1997" and "3rd Globe -- Car Maniac -- 1991-1998."
