Limited edition of 500 copies numbered and signed by Gossage (this being #384/500), with an original black and white gelatin silver print (8-3/8 x 6-7/8 inches) tipped in the front cover. Hardcover. Black cloth, with [replaced] acetate dust jacket. Photographs made in Berlin between 1982-1986 by John Gossage. Introduction by Jane Livingston, and three legends based on the collection of Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm. 22 pp., with 18 black and white plates (most measure about 15-1/2 x 13 inches) and 6 full-page vellum-like pages bound in between most of the plates. 18-1/2 x 13-1/2 inches. Out of print. Extremely scarce.
