First edition, first printing. Limited edition of 350 unnumbered copies, with an original Type-C print, "Frank Is Not My Father" (image size 4-1/4 x 3-1/8 inches; paper size 5 x 3-1/2 inches). The print is corner-mounted in a pamplet with text (in English and Japanese) by Alec Soth and signed in black ink by Soth.

The edition consists of a 22-page empty photo album, an 8-page pamphlet (containing the print), 19 loose plates reproducing anonymous photographs, and 12 printed snippets of text (a mix of English and Japanese). Designed by Hans Seeger.

Hardcover. Brown paper-covered boards with embossed title in white and Japanese text printed in black; no dust jacket as issued. 9-1/8 x 6-1/2 inches.

From the publisher: "The Frank Album was produced as an event-based publication in Tokyo, Japan, on September 14th, 2013. Event participants were given a selection of textual and photographic elements to edit and sequence to create an album photobook. Each participant created their own Frank story, making each copy of the edition unique.
